LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Arkansas Historic Preservation Program announced that seven properties in the state were added to the National Register of Historic Places in May.
National Register and Survey Coordinator and Deputy State Historic Preservation Officer Ralph Wilcox said the addition of the properties was important.
“Having Arkansas properties listed on the National Register of Historic Places is always an exciting occasion,” Wilcox said. “The National Park Service’s listing of these properties is a great honor and highlights significant sites across Arkansas.”
