Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin has announced seven arrests made by the office’s Medicaid Fraud Control Unit.
Among those arrested was 33-year-old Cassidy Baldridge of Lead Hill, who was charged Oct. 9 with Medicaid fraud, a Class A misdemeanor. Authorities allege Baldridge billed Medicaid for services she claimed to provide while a patient was hospitalized, despite not working at the hospital.
Also arrested was 40-year-old Brandi Davis of Trumann, who was charged with two counts of Medicaid fraud. Investigators said Davis manipulated a telephonic verification system to falsely bill for services and created a fraudulent employee profile for her son to submit claims for care that was never provided.
