NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark.- North Little Rock police have identified both the victim and suspect in a homicide that happened Monday at the Jefferson Manor Apartments.
Man found dead inside North Little Rock apartment after shooting
According to the North Little Rock Police Department, officers responded around 10:28 a.m. on June 8 to the apartment complex at 2600 John Ashley Drive after receiving reports of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found 29-year-old Arron Gilliam of North Little Rock inside an apartment suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Gilliam was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said 39-year-old Cecil Brooks Jr. has been identified as a suspect in Gilliam’s death. Police said an arrest warrant charging Brooks with capital murder has been issued…
