SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Happy Friday, ArkLaTex! Scattered thunderstorms will impact the northern ArkLaTex on Friday. The heat will continue through Saturday, and a cold front will bring heavy rain and heat relief late Sunday into Monday.
Friday: A cold front will be located north of the ArkLaTex this morning. Weakening thunderstorms will impact areas near and north of I-30 in Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas thorugh at least 9 or 10 a.m. Storms are not expected to be severe, but a few wind gusts of 30 to 40 miles per hour can’t be ruled out. These slow-moving storms may bring some heavy rain in excess of 2 inches, and flooded roads will be possible…
