Small Town, Big Win: Arkansas Scholarship Lottery celebrates $1.8 billion Powerball win

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – This month, the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) hosted a community celebration at Murphy USA 7879 to commemorate the $1.817 billion Powerball ticket sold in Cabot.

“We were excited to see the city of Cabot come together to celebrate this historic win,” said ASL Executive Director Sharon Strong. “The event was a great opportunity to support one of our retailers, Murphy USA 7879, and remember that big wins can happen anywhere, at any time—even in a small town.”

The retailer event featured games, a prize giveaway and a radio remote with KSSN 96. Murphy USA vendors, Coca-Cola and Monster Energy, provided samples to attendees.
