North Bar in North Little Rock has closed. Former employee Bryan Lowe posted to a private Facebook group that staff were informed during a preshift meeting Tuesday. Since then, many others have posted about the closure on social media, lamenting the high cost of goods, the challenges impacting the restaurant business and the fact that the restaurant’s renowned burgers will no longer be available in the Park Hill neighborhood.
Opened in 2017, the “neighborhood gourmet bar” once hosted Guy Fieri and was featured on an episode of “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.” A fire destroyed the restaurant in 2023, forcing its closure, but the establishment reopened in 2024.
