(NEXSTAR) – While Buc-ee’s continues to expand into new regions, the travel center chain is proving that it’s still loyal to its home state, where it will soon open its 37th location.
On August 12, Buc-ee’s will open a new location in San Marcos, Texas, roughly halfway between Austin and San Antonio. The site cost roughly $47.2 million, according to local reporting. Buc-ee’s says it expects the location to create more than 200 jobs.
The San Marcos store will mark the third new Buc-ee’s location to open this year. Ohio’s first-ever Buc-ee’s opened in April, and in June, the company’s westernmost location opened in Arizona.
