Arkansas wildfire surges to 2,000 acres, triggers evacuations

EL DORADO, Ark. (KATV) — A fast-growing Arkansas wildfire exploded from just 150 acres to roughly 2,000 acres Thursday, prompting voluntary evacuations in El Dorado and surrounding parts of Union County.

The fire comes as dry conditions have increased wildfire dangers across Arkansas.
