This week, state and local law enforcement agencies across Arkansas will join the U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to spread the message that if you’re not driving sober, you risk getting pulled over.
The high visibility nationwide Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign began Friday and will run through Sunday, Sept. 7.
The campaign’s simple goal is to prevent impaired driving crashes and save lives during one of the busiest travel weekends of the year ahead of the Labor Day holiday. Drivers who choose to get behind the wheel after drinking can expect increased enforcement and will be held accountable…
