Former Big Rock Fun Park employee arrested after confessing to starting fire, officials say

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock police have arrested a former employee of Big Rock Fun Park after fire officials say he confessed to starting the fire that closed the park.

Officials with the Little Rock Fire Marshal’s office said 26-year-old Quincey Jones confessed to starting the fire that happened on Aug. 4.

Fire forces Big Rock Fun Park to close until further notice

The fire damaged the park’s maintenance building as well as main electrical services, causing the park to close until further notice. Jones is a former employee of the park, officials said.
