SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — On September 1, SWEPCO announced expanded bill assistance measures for resident customers across Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas.
Many households in the three-state area are experiencing higher electric bills due to extreme heat.
The assistance is available through the end of October and includes waived late fees for eligible customers, pausing required deposits, no added fees or penalties, expanded access to predictable monthly billing through the Average Monthly Payment (AMP) program, and other support options.
