NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KATV) — If you’ve ever wanted to get a closer look at the Arkansas National Guard’s gear, and maybe even snap a photo with a Black Hawk helicopter, Minuteman Day at Camp Robinson is shaping up to be the kind of Saturday outing that’s equal parts patriotic and hands-on.
The Arkansas National Guard will host Minuteman Day on Saturday, Sept. 12, at Camp Robinson. Gates open at 7 a.m., and activities will run through the morning and into the afternoon. The event is free and open to the public.
Col. Joel Lynch said the day will feature athletic events, military displays and opportunities for visitors to learn more about what the Guard does and the benefits it offers. The schedule includes a cross-country event for high schools and junior highs, along with a 5K that runs on trails around the lake at Camp Robinson…
