LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KATV) — Little Rock homeless outreach nonprofit The Van is going through hard times, on Monday parting ways with Executive Director Parker Reid. The organization’s founder, Aaron Reddin, has stepped back in as interim director only months after resigning due to health issues.
Reddin says The Van is in dire straits financially, about $100,000 short of where its budget needs to be as it prepares to serve the homeless of the Little Rock metro this winter.
“It’s scary tight … we’re not in default on anything yet, but there’s a good chance we could be there in the next month,” Reddin said…
