LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Officials for the Big Dam Bridge 100 Cycling Tour of Central Arkansas provided information Tuesday about road closures and end-of-race events for this Saturday.
Officials said cyclists from across the country are expected to take part in the tour of central Arkansas on Sept. 26, with organizers anticipating about 3,000 riders from 35 states, five countries and across Arkansas. Motorists can expect minor changes in traffic patterns along the route from early morning through late afternoon, they said.
The annual event features rides ranging from 15 to 105 miles. The longest route travels through Little Rock, North Little Rock and parts of Pulaski and Perry counties, with volunteers stationed along the course to assist riders.
