LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Arkansas Department of Human Services (DHS) has launched a toolkit to help individuals and organizations share materials on the forthcoming changes to ARHOME.
Officials said the toolkit includes flyers, posters, email and text message templates, social media materials, and videos that will be displayed across more than 75 DHS county offices.
Arkansas DHS outlines coming work requirements for Medicaid recipients
Beginning Jan. 1, 2027, ARHOME beneficiaries who do not qualify for an exemption must complete at least 80 hours per month of work, school, volunteer service, or a combination of these activities to maintain coverage. DHS began a soft rollout of the new requirements earlier this year, but no penalties will be imposed until the program officially takes effect.
DHS is also offering free customized promotional videos. The videos can be tailored to individual businesses, churches, clinics and other organizations, include information about the upcoming ARHOME changes and direct viewers to AR.gov/engage.
