FAULKNER COUNTY, Ark. – Arkansas Game and Fish Commission officials said Thursday that drought conditions have boosted construction efforts at its Lake Conway project.
AGFC drained the lake for planned updates in September 2023. The project’s goals were improved infrastructure, access and fish habitat, officials said at the time.

Officials said on Thursday that last month brought two major milestones in the lake renovation project. Crews completed the bridge over the auxiliary spillway, and a pedestrian bridge for the creek crossing at the former dam site was delivered.
