NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – An ordinance passed by North Little Rock City Council members on Sept. 14 expands the boundaries of the Argenta Entertainment District.
The new expansion extends the district south of Broadway toward the riverfront, adding areas that include new and emerging hospitality and entertainment destinations. Officials said the district boundaries were first created in 2020 and updated in 2023.

City officials said the expansion is intended to support continued growth in downtown Argenta by encouraging hospitality and entertainment development while generating economic benefits for the city, residents and local businesses.
The expanded Argenta Outdoor Dining District allows participating businesses within its boundaries to operate under district rules that permit the possession and consumption of alcoholic beverages in approved outdoor areas.
