Gov. Sanders allowing red-dyed diesel on highways

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KAIT) – Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders signed an executive order Tuesday, Sept. 29, allowing farmers and loggers to use untaxed red-dyed off-road diesel on state highways.

The fuel is normally restricted to farm use only. The executive order suspends that regulation and allows farmers and loggers to use the fuel across the state.

“If a country can’t feed itself, fuel itself, or fight for itself, then it can’t survive,” Sanders said.
