BENTON COUNTY, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Former Arkansas State Rep. Austin McCollum, who is accused of assaulting his wife, has been arrested a second time, according to jail records.
McCollum, 35, was arrested by the Benton County Sheriff’s Office on Sept. 29 for one count of first-degree stalking and violation of a protection order. No bond has been listed for McCollum as of 5 p.m.
Details on whether McCollum’s new charges are connected to his other case have not been released.
In his other case, McCollum is facing third-degree battering, aggravated assault on a family or household member and first-degree false imprisonment charges. He has pleaded not guilty to those charges…
