Bull Shoals Dam ranks among top 10 largest in U.S.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The Bull Shoals Dam in northern Arkansas was named one of the top 10 biggest dams in the United States by WorldAtlas.com.

Bull Shoals Dam, which sits on the White River, was ranked the ninth-biggest dam in terms of storage capacity, with WorldAtlas saying it can hold about 1.9 trillion gallons of water, or 5.8 million acre-feet of water.
