STEELE, Mo. (KAIT) – A minor earthquake rattled near the Arkansas-Missouri state line Friday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The magnitude 2.2 tremor occurred at 9:52 a.m. Friday, centered approximately 3.8 miles east-northeast of Steele, Missouri, and roughly 14.8 miles northeast of Blytheville, Arkansas.
USGS data indicates the quake had a depth of about 5 miles.
