LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KATV) — Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced the results of her executive order to speed permitting for economic development projects.
The order, signed on February 16, 2026, instructed state agencies to review how Arkansas issues permits, licenses, and other regulatory approvals.
Sanders says that under EO 26-04, 13 state departments identified 344 ways to make those approvals faster, simpler, less costly and less burdensome for the people and businesses who need them and 75 of those improvements have since been implemented or are underway…
