Capital Murder Suspect Among 2 Arkansas Prisoners Who Escaped Jail Days Before Being Reported Missing

The pair may have been gone for two full days before they were reported missing

Authorities in Arkansas are on the hunt for two men, including a murder suspect, who escaped from jail days before they were reported missing.

The men were reported missing from the Dub Brassell Adult Detention Center on Monday morning.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says Jatonia Bryant, 23, is described as a Black male, 5’11” tall and approximately 145 pounds. Bryant was being detained on probable cause for Capital Murder.

Noah Roush, 22, is described as a white male, 6’2” and approximately 180 pounds. Roush was being detained on probable cause for residential burglary and theft of property. Roush was also a suspect in a homicide. Roush has a scar on the right side of his head.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said the prisoners may have escaped as long as 48 hours before they were reported missing.

Information about how they escaped or what caused the delay in finding that out was not released.
