Manhunt underway for two ‘dangerous’ inmates in Arkansas

Arkansas authorities have launched a manhunt for two inmates described as “dangerous” who were found to be missing from a detention center on Tuesday morning, officials shared.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office shared in a release that the men, Noah Roush and Jatonia Bryant, were discovered missing at around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the Dub Brassell Adult Detention Center in Pine Bluff.

“Both individuals are to be considered dangerous and should only be approached (by) law enforcement personnel,” the sheriff’s office warned.

Bryant, 23, was being held on probable cause for capital murder, and Roush, 22, is also a suspect in a homicide but was being held on probable cause for residential burglary and theft, the press release shared.

The pair were believed to have escaped sometime from Sunday to Tuesday.

The release shared that Bryant is 5’11,” Black, and weighs around 145 pounds, while Roush is 6’2”, white, and around 180 pounds with a scar on the right side of his head.

The Pine Bluff Police Department Vice and Narcotics, Arkansas State Police, the state Department of Correction, and the sheriff’s office are working with other agencies to find the inmates.
