Saline Co. ‘A Starry Night’ gala planned to battle food insecurity

BENTON, Ark. – A charity event in Saline County is preparing to light up the night.

Junior Auxiliary of Saline County Chairperson Savannah Gann stopped by KARK 4 News to talk about the upcoming charity gala “A Starry Night.”

The non-profit organization helps meet the basic needs of children living in Saline County.

Their goal is to provide bags of food for children who are at risk of food insecurity over extended school breaks.

The gala is being held at the Benton Event Center on Feb. 10 from 6:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., with tickets at $60 each.

The event will have food, music, raffles, and a silent auction with all proceeds going toward the goal of the project.
