JACKSONVILLE, Ark. – After the winter weather in Arkansas, potholes appeared, and some drivers say it’s become bothersome because of the amount on the road and they’re hoping it will all be repaired soon.
In a press release from the Arkansas Department of Transportation, they said they’re using available resources to repair potholes statewide that formed in the aftermath of the recent winter storm.

Susie Dunn, who often drives along Chenal Parkway in Little Rock, said potholes have been a nuisance.
“I noticed after all the ice and snow, ‘Why am I hitting all these potholes?’ because I’m always going down Chenal,” Dunn said. “I just noticed they have gotten super bad.”
She said potholes are hard to avoid because of how many are along the parkway.
“I saw a girl pulled over the other day and her whole back glass was shattered because she hit one so hard and I’m like, ‘They’re going to need to fix this,’” Dunn said.
