North Little Rock Parks and Rec to hold Total Eclipse in the Park event

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – When central Arkansas finds itself in the zone of the total eclipse in April, there will be many places to enjoy the show, including along the Arkansas River.

Officials with the North Little Rock Parks and Recreation is offering parking passes at the Burns Park Soccer Complex and NLR Riverfront Park, which offers a great southerly view perfect for viewing the eclipse with no obstructions.

The Arkansas Inland Maritime will also be offering the opportunity to view the eclipse from aboard their barge and boat for an additional fee.

Parking passes are $25 per vehicle and spaces are limited. For more information on parking passes or Total Eclipse in the Park, visit NLR.AR.gov .
