CABOT, Ark. – Officers with the Cabot Police Department are mourning one of its own
after Detective Christian Weir died while in an off-duty single car accident Saturday morning.
In a Facebook post , CPD officials said that Weir has been with the department and served the city since April of 2022.

Detective Weir is survived by his wife Bailey who is expecting the birth of their first child.
CPD Chief Scott Steely met with Weir’s family after the accident and will share more information on arrangements when they are available.
