LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A Fort Smith woman had a $130,000 win playing the Natural State Jackpot game in the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery on Jan. 31.

Yevonda Frachiseur picked up her winnings at the Little Rock claim center on Feb. 5. She had purchased the ticket at J-Mart on Midland Boulevard in Fort Smith.

Frachiseur told lottery officials that J-Mart was her favorite retailer. She continued to explain her strategy for selecting winning numbers was by playing the same numbers every time.

“I always think of it like lightning strikes or getting hit by a car,” she said. “Just keep using the same [numbers] over and over again.”

Other than the jackpot, that same-numbers strategy also won her $300 in the Jan. 29 drawing, officials said.

Frachiseur told officials she plays Natural State Jackpot regularly, typically purchasing 10 days’ worth of tickets at a time. She intends to keep playing the game, she said and will spend her current winnings on home repairs.
