LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The grand opening of a new Little Rock Bank happened on Thursday, but this one was run by elementary school students.
It’s a project in partnership with First Security Bank. The new Gibbs International Magnet School Bank is meant to teach kids how banks operate, and how to save and manage their money.

“We have student tellers, we have student security guards and it’s enabling the students here at Gibbs to save through First Security Bank’s Kids Club Savings program,” Lewis said.
