In a heart-wrenching development that has shocked the Little Rock community, local authorities are now investigating the deaths of a woman and her infant found on an Interstate 440 ramp as homicides. This grim discovery was made early Tuesday morning, prompting a swift response from the North Little Rock Police Department (NLRPD).
A Mother and Child Lost
The victims have been identified as 27-year-old Teangela Tate and her 2-month-old baby, Noel Mott. The circumstances surrounding their deaths have led investigators to suspect foul play, although specific details leading to this conclusion have yet to be disclosed.
A Survivor in Critical Condition
In a distressing addition to the case, officers found a second child, a black male approximately a year and a half old, at the scene. This child, now confirmed to be Tate’s son and sibling to the deceased infant, was rushed to a local hospital where he remains in critical condition. Authorities have withheld his name as he fights for his life under the care of medical professionals.
