LITTLE ROCK, AR (KATV) – The state gas price average is on the rise according to the AAA Arkansas Weekend Gas Watch. Out of all major metropolitan areas surveyed in Arkansas, commuters in Fayetteville-Springdale-Rogers and West Memphis are paying the highest price at an average of $2.97. Drivers in Fort Smith, however, are paying the lowest amount listed at $2.82 per gallon.
