Pulaski County deputies found Crawford’s 2-year-old son Mark Everett inside the home unharmed.

Crawford’s cousin Shedereka Harris said it’s heartbreaking after all these years that no one has been arrested and convicted for the crime.

“That’s all I would ask them would you please try to give us some closure for the family for the kids, we need it,” Harris said.

Everett, who is now 14 years old, said he and his mom have something in common.

“She knows how to fight,” Everett said.
