Little Rock holds Therapeutic Recreational Arts festival

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – On Friday, the Hall of Industry at the Arkansas State Fairgrounds held a therapeutic Recreational Arts festival.

Students were invited to makes arts and crafts, take dance lessons and much more.

It’s a great opportunity to network, and it provides a fun field trip for students who have special needs.

“It’s so much fun for the kids each year. What’s fun for me is i get a lot of the same kids coming for the last 22 years, so we get to watch them grow up and it’s such a great event for the community,” Sherrie Shinn, Therapeutic Recreation Coordinator said.

Officials said that each year, the event gets bigger and better.
