Little Rock police investigating Fourth of July shooting that left one minor in critical condition

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Little Rock Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a minor injured on Thursday evening.

Authorities said officers responded to a report of an accidental shooting involving two minors at 4:42 p.m. in the 12000 block of Saint Charles Boulevard in west Little Rock.

LRPD officials said one of the minors was transported to a local hospital and is in critical condition.

Officials did not state the ages of the minors.

Police said more information will be provided when it becomes available.
