Norman’s Neighborhoods: Officer Tommy Norman connects with kids at the corner store

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – With over a million followers on social media, the impact someone could have can be monumental. That’s the case for North Little Rock police officer, Tommy Norman.

No matter if he is wearing his uniform or not, Norman makes it his mission to spread love to the community.

Recently, he took a walk to the corner store with a group of kids to get some snacks.

When he arrived at the home, there was immediate excitement from the kids.

“Who wants to walk to the store,” Norman asked, leading to a show of hands and smiles.

“It’s just truly a blessing,” Linda Edwards, who is the grandmother of the group of kids Norman took to the store, said.

Edwards is raising all seven of her grandkids. She says it’s a joy to have support from Norman.

“She just welcomed me to the family. It feels really good,” Norman said.
