Propane delivery truck fire near Arkansas state line; One Medflight suffering burns

McDONALD COUNTY, Mo. (KOAM) — Monday morning White Rock Fire responded to an incident involving a propane delivery truck off Bear Hollow Road near the Arkansas state line.

“Our crews have been busy working a major fire this morning. We are sad to say there was one burn victim that was flown to a burn center.”

Complete details are unknown however they state in a release mutual aid departments responded including: Bella Vista Fire, Pineville FPD , Pea Ridge FD, Gravette FD, Freeman EMS, and McDonald Co Sheriff’s Office.

The WRFPD release a short video with the information showing a propane delivery truck on fire as a ladder truck works water onto the flames from above.  The truck carried an unknown number of large bottles. One “pops” off and spews flames high into the air, then the bottle is empty and the fire goes back down again.
