Mercy opens clinics in three former Walmart Health locations in Arkansas

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Three former Walmart Health locations in Arkansas have reopened as Mercy clinics.

A news release from the Missouri-based healthcare organization said the three locations opened earlier this month.

These are the three locations:

  • 4780 Elm Springs Road, Springdale
  • 2110 W. Walnut, Suite 100, Rogers
  • 2100 N. 62 nd St., Suite A, Fort Smith

Walmart Health announces plans to close all 51 locations across 5 states

Mercy said the facilities will only be primary care, not urgent care, and walk-ins will be welcome. Hours will be updated when the clinics open.

Dr. Paul Nguyen and nurse practitioner Daniel Maechler will provide care at the Fort Smith clinic. Northwest Arkansas patients will be seen by Dr. Kristy Jones in Rogers and nurse practitioner Jacob Adkison in Springdale. Mercy said more providers will join the locations at later dates.

Hours for the two Northwest Arkansas locations are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and the Fort Smith location’s hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
