A brief chance to dry out today before our next round of showers and possible thunderstorms develops tonight. In the short term, today looks to be clear to partly cloudy and a bit cooler/less humid but still relatively mild, with highs of about 55 to 60. Overnight, however, a passing weather system will bring another round of showers and maybe even a thunderstorm or two. Rain chances will be highest south (Bootheel, TN, KY) but northern counties (MO, IL) will also probably get a few showers. SPC has a marginal (Level 1) risk of severe tonight for parts of AR and TN just south of our region. Rain should push out pretty early Wednesday morning, with the remainder of the week looking dry.
