LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – For 18 years in a row, Benny Johnson with the Arkansas Stop the Violence movement has gifted bikes to families on Christmas Day.
Kashana Brewster is a mother of four, whose goal this Christmas is to get the kids outside.
“I try my best to keep my kids away from electronic devices,” Brewster said. “And have them more so playing outside, like how I was raised.”

Johnson said this year he had help with donations from the Peyton Lee Mitchell Foundation to help make Brewster’s goal a reality, and to donate a bike to hundreds of more children for the holiday.
“We went over 400 bikes again this year,” Johnson said. “We’ve been over 400 about the last six years.”
Because of the program, families can spend the holiday with an extra ounce of Christmas cheer.
“It’s priceless. I love it. I love to see my kids smile; I love to see them happy,” Brewster said. “And, as long as they’re happy, I’m happy.”
