‘We’re just folks helping other folks’ Arkansas National Guardsmen helping drivers stuck in the snow

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – With the winter storm hitting Arkansas, because of the possible dangerous condition The Arkansas National Guard is teaming up with Arkansas State Police to help drivers who are stranded.

The partnership comes after Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders mobilized 140 Arkansas National Guardsmen to make 28 winter weather response teams, helping Arkansas State Police troopers transport stranded drivers until the road conditions improve.
