Landowners in Arkansas invited to apply for conservation program

ARKANSAS, USA — The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Services (NRCS) and Restore the Earth Foundation (REF) are accepting applications for the Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP).

The program is called REForest Arkansas and aims to convert 10,000 acres of land that are unsuitable for farming into “thriving permanent conservation easements,” according to the release. The program’s goal is to demonstrate the use of private and public funding to accomplish this transformation.
