Arkansas – Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders has signed an executive order extending the state income tax filing deadline for residents and businesses in Arkansas counties impacted by the severe storms and tornadoes that struck the state on March 14, 2025.

Under Executive Order 25-06, the 2024 tax filing and payment deadline has been extended from April 15, 2025, to July 31, 2025, for individuals and businesses in 17 affected counties. The counties include Baxter, Chicot, Clark, Fulton, Greene, Hempstead, Hot Spring, Independence, Izard, Jackson, Lawrence, Nevada, Phillips, Randolph, Sharp, Stone, White, and Woodruff.

The order follows a state of emergency declared on March 15, 2025, through Executive Order 25-05 in response to widespread damage caused by the severe weather outbreak.
