Man killed by Arkansas police after leading officers on chase across counties, ASP says

GILMORE, Ark. – Arkansas police killed an armed man after he led authorities on a high-speed chase across multiple counties, according to Arkansas State Police (ASP).

ASP said the chase began in Poinsett County Thursday night when a Poinsett County Sheriff’s Office deputy tried to pull over 54-year-old Joe Versie for reckless driving.
