Arkansas man convicted for Oklahoma bank robbery

OKLAHOMA CITY – An Arkansas man is facing up to life in prison after being convicted of bank robbery in a federal jury trial.

A release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Western District of Oklahoma, states that 58-year-old Arkansan Brian Keith Mays was convicted of bank robbery and brandishing a firearm after a three-day trial on March 13.

Officials said prosecutors presented evidence at the trial showing Mays brandished a pistol at the FNB Community Bank in Harrah, Oklahoma, on July 5, 2024, and demanded money, collecting $12,123 from the bank’s tellers…
