Buc-ee’s Breaks Ground on First Arkansas Store

Mega-convenience-store retailer Buc-ee’s Ltd. will break ground on its newest travel center on April 16, located in Benton, Arkansas, the first in the Natural State.

Located just southwest of Little Rork, Arkansas, at Interstate 30 and State Highway 299, a new intersection, Buc-ee’s Benton will occupy 74,000 square feet and offer 120 fueling positions.

It will offers signature items such as barbeque, fudge, kolaches, Beaver Nuggets, jerky and pastries.

  • Buc-ee’s is No. 118 on CSP’s 2024 Top 202 ranking of U.S. convenience-store chains by store count.

“We obviously picked Benton, the ‘Heart of Arkansas,’ to be the first Buc-ee’s in the Natural State,” Stan Beard, Buc-ee’s director of real estate and development, said. “Folks on their way to or from Hot Springs or any number of beautiful destinations around Benton and Little Rock will stop in for our great Texas barbeque, the cleanest restrooms in the universe and a pit stop beyond their wildest expectations.”…
