Little Rock Mayor Frank Scott, Jr. gives update on storm damage, road conditions.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Following severe storms that swept through Little Rock on Friday and Saturday, Little Rock Mayor Frank Scott, Jr. gave an update on the work the city is doing toward storm damage.

According to Mayor Scott, Little Rock Public Works has multiple crews working on both flooding locations and tree removal. He said additional crews are also being called in for requests for assistance.

Power outages hit Arkansas hard after severe storms

Scott said that there are over 70 locations of trees impacting roads, in addition to streets with flooding issues.

He said crews will continue to work as quickly as possible until dark and will return on Sunday to clear any remaining trees from roads…
