Little Rock rolls out mobile city hall to bring services to your doorstep

Little Rock is hitting the road with its first-ever mobile city hall meeting, aiming to bring city services directly to residents’ neighborhoods. The initiative, which kicks off today at Longley Baptist Church from 5 to 7 p.m., is part of a series of events planned throughout the year to boost community engagement.

City of Little Rock spokesperson Aaron Sadler said, “This mobile city hall that we’re having today is really our first initiative of a series of events throughout the year to increase engagement with our community, and we’re doing that by taking city services out into your neighborhood.”

Residents can expect a variety of services, including applying for building permits, paying traffic court fines, and even interacting with zoo animals. “We have things for all ages,” Sadler said. “We have opportunities for you to interact with the city and with our city department heads.”…
