Governor Sanders enacts bills to boost Arkansas’s economy and public welfare

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — On April 21, 2025, Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders signed a set of bills that will address the state’s economy, healthcare, library board, Amber Alert system, A.I., and other areas.

The Arkansas Respond, Innovate, Succeed, and Empower (RISE) Act was among notable bills that were passed, which will create and uphold new requirements for public institutions that have students with disabilities.
