SHERWOOD, Ark. – At least 16 homes were damaged by straight-line winds Wednesday in Sherwood, according to city officials.
On Thursday, the National Weather Service ruled out a tornado as the cause, but heavy winds mixed with saturated ground and heavy leafy trees.
